Hey everyone! So today’s post is a bit
differente but.. We’re very happy to talk about this.
Ana and I are new in this “world”
and we didn’t new about this award thing but we were nominated to The Liebster Award.
The Liebster Award is an award given to bloggers by bloggers in
recognition of all their hard work and a few days ago we were nominated by the
lovely Beth at her amazing blog Mode De Vie Bel (make sure you check it out)
and we really want to thank her for the nomination. By accepting this
nomination, it allows us to build relationships with other bloggers as well as
give new blogs the recognition they deserve for all their work.

- When and why did you start your blog?
We started our blog in August 2015 although our first post was just in September.
I (Joana) had this idea of create a blog since last year because I started feeling this passion by makeup, fashion, lifestyle and much more things related to that, but I felt like I wasn't hable to do it by myself so one day me and Ana talked about creating and blog and voilà, we created 'Classy Glamourizers' and with Joana's help we started blogging.
- What are your aims and hopes for your blog?
We really want this blog to be a serious thing. We want to show our passions and give people some inspiration.
We hope this blog grow up more and more because, for now, it's just our baby but we do want it to be our "big boy" (boy because it's a blog of course hahah).
- How did you decide on the tittle of your blog?
The first name we thought was 'Make Up Your Fashion Style' that's our mail is makeupyourfashionstyle@gmail.com (in case you want to contact us, by the way) but then I (Joana) thought it was oversize to a blog name so I searched for some ideas and I found something related to 'classy' and then I remembered my tumblr url and the tittle 'Classy Glamourizers' just came into my mind.
- Who are your favourite bloggers?
Joana: To be honest I follow some good bloggers on my Instagram and on my Twitter but my favourites have to be Danielle Peazer with her blog Idle Lane (I completely love her omg), Sara Donaldson with Harper & Harley, and Cláudia Pereira (portuguese blogger) with La Joie de Vivre!. You should check them out because they're really good bloggers and whenever I need inspiration to some posts I visit their blogs and I feel a brainstorming haha.
Ana: Actually in my twitter and instagram account I follow some bloggers but my favourites are Lou Teasdale with her tumbrl/blog (love her a lot) , Sarah Ashcroft with That Pommie Girl blog, Victoria with In The Frow and Danielle Peazer as Joana! And normally I see on my tv "Fashion Bloggers" Show on ENews channel (they're really good), say great tips from fashion and teach us how we can do a good job in this industry!
- If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Joana: I would love to travel around the world but if I had to choose one place I would choose Australia. It's a place that I really loved to visit because of all the beautiful landscapes and those interesting animals and I could stay hours talking about what I would love to visit in Australia.
Ana: I would love to travel around the world too but my choose is New York city!!I think New York is insane, all the view here are incredible, the buildings, people everywhere, the classics yellow cabs like in the movies, all the stores of all brands, the famous Times Square and Empire State Building,... OMG this is all so excited for me... I really need to visit this big city soon!
- What's your favourite book?
Joana: I don't think I have a favourite book. I like to read but unfortunately I don't read very often but that's something I want to change in the next months because I think that when we read our mind always imagine what we read and we kinda go to a different world for a few minutes.
Ana: Well, my favourite book actually is "The Craft" by Lou Teasdale , because she's one of my inspiration from Fashion & MakeUp, and in her book she tell us so many tips of MakeUp, colour hairs, how we can work in this professional area, etc!! AMAZING I love her...!!
- What's your favourite Disney film?
Joana: My favourite Disney film has to be "Snow White". I watched it so many times when I was little and I always felt so happy while watching it.
Ana: I don't have favourite disney film, but I've two favourite movies. The first is "Home Alone 2" because is a classic Christmas movie ahah, it's really funny and the second is "Sundays at Tiffany's" by Mark Piznarski (I cry a lot with this one), it's a Christmas movie too.
- What's your favourite season and why?
Joana & Ana: My favourite season is autumn. I like when it's a bit more cold but there's no rain and the ground is full of leaves that fell from trees and the sun still comes out to make our days much better hahah.
- What's your guilty pleasure?
Joana & Ana: Here we have an interesting and hard question. I don't even know what to answer.. Maybe shopping, I mean.. It's not really shopping, it's more like, spend lots of time seeing what's new in every store that I like and see what's new and what are the trends to every season.. I don't really know...
